Environmental Program Coordinator
Term: May 3 - August 31, 2023
Direct Report: Executive Director
Hourly Rate: $25.50 CDN / hour
Hours: Approx 30 hours X 18 weeks, to an estimated maximum of 460 hours.
Location: Remote & limited in-person requirements in the Vancouver area.
Tools & Equipment: The contractor will have continual access to a computer in good working condition with camera and microphone, and high speed internet.
Working Hours: The contractor will be required to participate in multiple weekly, on camera, zoom meetings, during 9-5 (ET or PT) working hours, virtual coworking sessions, Monday to Friday. The contractor will be responsible to complete their daily / weekly tasks independently, and will be required to check in at the beginning and end of every work day to ensure timely responses to email requests and other communication requirements.
Title: Environmental Program Coordinator - Sustainable Production Forum
The Program Coordinator, Sustainable Production Forum, is an important team member who facilitates all aspects of programming and events production. Their role is inclusive of: program production logistics and execution, interfacing with venues, suppliers, and vendors, programming research & development, copywriting, speakers lists and invitations, integrating subject matter expertise, and contributing to event marketing materials as needed. The Program Coordinator will act as speaker liaison when needed and will engage in document preparation and speaker prep to support the execution of high-quality programming. They will enhance and enrich the SPF24 program programming and content to meet mission goals, partnership requirements, and values. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director, and the management, programming and communications teams.
