    Vancouver Term: November 3-5, 2025, November 3 (½ day), November 4 : Full day, and as needed November 5 (½ day)

    Toronto Term: November 23–25, 2025, November 23 (½ day), November 24 (Full day) and as needed November 25 (½ day)

    Direct Report: Production and Programming Manager and Production Team

    Vancouver Location: In person at Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation centre, 181 Roundhouse Mews, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2W3 - Off-site for pickups/deliveries.

    Toronto Location: In person at CBC Toronto Broadcast Centre - 250 Front Street West, Toronto, Ontario, M5V 3G6 -  Off-site for pickups/deliveries.

    Rate: $30/hr

    Hours: Expected Maximum | 20 hrs (8 hours prep/strike + 12 hours on event day)

    Half days of set up and strike/ returns 

    We are seeking a reliable and proactive Production Assistant to support the production team for a 1-day event and be available the day before and the day after for half days of set up. The PA will assist in various onsite tasks to ensure smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of the event. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone interested in live events, sustainability, production, or media.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Pick-ups with EV Van of furniture, equipment, food, and other errands. (Possibility that Toronto will be an ICE cargo van)

    Assist with event setup and teardown (e.g., signage, equipment, tables, staging)

    Support coordination with vendors, talent, and crew

    Help manage attendee flow and provide directions

    Handle last-minute errands or runs (e.g., picking up supplies, food)

    Distribute credentials, wristbands, or event materials

    Maintain cleanliness and organization in backstage or green room areas

    Communicate with team via phone as needed

    Support production leads with miscellaneous tasks throughout the event

    Ensure all assigned areas are secure, stocked, and functioning smoothly

    Fulfill tasks as required by the executive director and production team

    Qualifications:

    Valid drivers’ license (required, we will be providing the ev van)

    Familiarity if possible with EV charging and handling. If not happy to do an orientation

    Previous experience in events, production, or customer service is a plus

    Strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism

    Able to follow instructions and adapt to last-minute changes

    Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs and being on your feet for extended periods

    Good communication skills and a team-player attitude

    Familiarity with keeping records of receipts and invoices

    Must be 18+ years old (or meet local working age requirements)

    Availability for the full day of the event, including early setup and late breakdown
