Inspired by the SPF21 session Union & Guilds Rally for People & Planet and driven by a shared commitment to create greater impact, this group was established in the fall of 2022. Originally known as Radical Collaboration, the members have since met regularly to pursue and implement their goals.

In 2024 a new directory was launched on the website with sustainability and green committee contacts. In December 2024 an open call for new members was sent out to local chapters of signatory national unions, guilds and trade associations, and received new members immediately.
